Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
HostSignal (“we”, “the site”) is an editorial website. This policy explains what we intend to collect once the site is deployed, and what this static repository does not collect on its own.
What this static build does
The checked-in project is a static Astro site. Pages are HTML. There is no user account system and no first-party form processor in this repo. Visiting a locally built copy does not send data to HostSignal.
When the site is hosted
A production host — for example Cloudflare Pages — will process connection data such as IP address, user agent, and request URL as part of delivering the site. That processing is governed by the host’s own terms and privacy documentation.
Analytics and cookies
This repository does not ship a third-party analytics script. If analytics are added later, this page should be updated with the vendor name, what is collected, and how to opt out. Affiliate links, once they replace the placeholders, may set cookies on the destination site so a merchant can attribute a sale. Those cookies are controlled by the merchant or affiliate network, not by this repo.
Contact email
If you email hello@hostsignal.com, we receive whatever you include in the message so we can reply. We do not sell that correspondence.
Retention and rights
We do not run a marketing list from this codebase. If a later version of the site collects personal data in a jurisdiction that grants access, correction, or deletion rights, send the request to the contact address above.
Children
HostSignal is written for adults making business software decisions. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If data practices change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date.
